These are first cut as flat discs, then with a special mold they are then formed. There is only 1 piece of copper here, no solder. These are wonderful for doing Cloisonne. We have annealed these with our torch and water quenched them to clean them, we also put these in acid to clean off any oxides that formed. I feel these are a novel product, unknown to the trade, I have never seen 100% Copper Bezel Cups anywhere. These would be great for enameling or other applications.
We sell discs in metric measurements, but if you want something in an exact inch measurement just let us know and I can try to find the mold for you, it will take time, but I usually am successful.
